We got the spicy fish fillet and tofu in chili sauce and sauteed string beans. Phenomenal. Would 100% eat again.

Beef and Onion dish was so flavorful and delicious. It was salty and a little sweet. The best version that I've had in the area. The pork belly dish was also great. Lots of umami. I wish I also ordered green beans or a green veggies to go with it, since that would have balanced the fattiness of the pork belly. Soup dumplings were great as always. We came for a quick lunch this first time and will definitely be back.

This place has been open for about 1 year according to the staff member. This is some of the best chinese food on the east coast (better than some spots we visited in new york) the schezuan style of heat is unmatched as well. We were taken away by how hot they were able to make the dishes. Didn't get to try the soup dumpling (my favorite) or crispy chicken with chili's but will be returning to give those a try and more. What a hidden gem.

The only place you should go for Szechuan food. And if you go, you MUST order their soup dumplings as part of your meal. You will not find any other place in the area with ones that taste this good. They come out piping hot! The rest of their menu is exquisite and they seem to always be open when we want to go. Servers are very friendly and hospitable!

Excellent Chinese sit down restaurant. Very clean and welcoming. Atmosphere. They will taper the menu if you don’t like it too spicy. They missed the appetizer first request but that was okay portions were large and all fresh and hot. A great find.

Legit Szechuan in Lancaster burbs. First a concern. So, wish my Black Pepper Beef was spicier. Rectified by red pepper brought to the table. And stirred into the sauce. Beef was cooked perfectly on my dish. Friend’s pork dish was roaring hot. And delicious. Scallion pancakes were yummy and the steamed dumplings legit. Place is well-staffed. Building has been a Chinese place for decades. Just different names. This is the best yet in 4 decades. Had the leftovers for dinner. P.S. Lavatories are super clean. That is a huge plus.

Visited with a group of 8. Food was great and authentic. Took only a few minutes for the food to start coming out and service was great. Got this cabbage and pork dish that was simple but one of the best dishes I've had at a Chinese restaurant. Other foods were all good too. Would come back.

I have dined here several times and will continue to dine here. The food here is extremely high quality and authentic, like eating at a fine dining Chinese establishment. It’s hard to say even one specific menu item is superb because it is all so good. The chili oil based dishes are delicious and a major menu staple but be warned if you have acid reflux issues or general spice sensitivity, bring your own milk for each bite and a large soft beverage as well. It’s authentic chili oil, tasty but it will stay in your stomach and on your tongue. And it takes the service a bit to refresh your water and there’s no soda fountain just cans of coke products and imported beverages. I once brought in my own 20 oz soda and was not hassled for it though. To the point of outside beverages, I believe you are allowed to BYOB, as I have observe people drinking Tsingtao with their communal meals, although I don’t believe Yi Pin sells alcohol themselves. The atmosphere is charming in its authenticity of the staff and many other customers, but noise can travel from other dining groups given the open area former Wendy’s architecture of the place, and it can get loud when multiple families eat communally. The prices are earned, with quality but this isn’t like a typical Chinese restaurant, it is more high quality and authentic. but you will have a great meal even when getting more affordable menu items like beef fried rice and egg rolls. Food is served in a way where even with two diners, the table is set for communal eating. Western style silverware is available upon request. It can be confusing to pay the bill, I take my check to the register up front. Staff is friendly and helpful. I love this place, I do hope one day they could move or remodel so their food has the atmosphere that fits its high quality.
